There is no substitute for being in the room with women who get it - who've been where you are, and can share what works for them and what doesn't. But we get it - sometimes the baby is sick, or you're sick, or it's just been a horrible night. if you do have to miss a session, then the online content is designed to ensure you don't fall behind.
Meet the Teacher
I'm Daire Halpin - an opera singer and mammy to two lively kids. I suffered a pelvic floor injury on the birth of my first child and since then, I've been on a mission to find out how to support this vital part of our anatomy.
I founded Sheela to give more women access to the knowledge and tools they need to live their lives free from the fear and uncertainty pelvic floor issues can bring. I recently retrained as a Pilates teacher (REPS and ITEC certified) and Physiotherapy Assistant so I can start sharing everything I've learned in a class setting.
Pelvic Floor Restore is exactly the kind of class I was desperate for after my injury.
YOUR PELVIC HEALTH MATTERS - here's why
Women with pelvic floor issues are 3 times more likely to suffer from anxiety and depression than other women. (source: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6390859/)
Women with pelvic floor issues are more likely to stop exercising which - long term - can lead to poor health outcomes including diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. (source: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34939122/)
A functioning pelvic floor is your right
- let us help you claim it.
What students are saying:
Daire/Sheela is exactly what I have been waiting and searching for the last 4 years!
A trained, experienced, exceptional knowledgable professional who knows everything about the body, how it performs. She is an absolutely brilliant coach on the pelvic floor. Her Pilates classes are informative, challenging, safe and fun. Best investment I have made for myself.

Daire’s classes are a really good mix of relaxing, educational and physically engaging. It is a very supportive environment and Daire makes everyone feel welcome and catered to.
I’ve been to many Pilates classes and for someone who is postpartum or restarting exercise and regaining their confidence, her pelvic floor restore class is a great choice. I could not recommend these classes more.
Clíona
I’ve been doing Pilates with Daire for the past few months. Her classes have a lovely pace and the right amount of intensity to see results. My flexibility has improved significantly. She is also very good at adapting her program to any injuries that may be present.
Highly recommend

Pelvic Floor issues like incontinence and prolapse affect huge numbers of women but for many, they are preventable and treatable.
Over 50% of women will experience prolpase and up to 80% of women will experience urinary incontinence at some point in their lives (source: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov).
Pelvic floor exercises can improve symptoms in 90% of cases but most women loose heart and find it nearly impossible to keep doing the exercises. This can lead to a cycle of shame and blaming yourself.
There is another way.
Pelvic Floor Restore classes are based on full body exercises that are proven to be more effective than Kegels alone at activating and strengthening the pelvic floor muscles.
We work on full range of movement - from totally relaxed to fully engaged - so we can address issues around pelvic floor tension as well as weakness. And we show you how to put it all together with a functioning core that is the key to doing any exercise you want without worrying about leaks or making things worse.
Let's get rid of the 'am I doing it right?' feeling once and for all.
